"I bought this chair because I remember..."
I bought this chair because I remember thinking it looked really nice in the photos, and it does look good in person too. But after a few days, I started noticing it felt a little wobbly. Maybe I’m being extra cautious because we have a baby around, but it made me nervous enough that I didn’t really feel comfortable with it. Customer support did get back to me, but I remember the instructions or fix not being very clear. For what I paid, I expected it to feel sturdier and more secure

I was a little cautious before ordering because I didn’t want to waste my money, but it turned out to be a good choice. The quality is better than I expected for the price, and I don’t regret buying it

"Pretty easy to put together"
I ordered a chair from Monte putting it together was easier than I expected. I’m usually a little skeptical when companies make everything sound super effortless in their product descriptions, because that’s not always how it goes in real life. But the parts were packed well, and the instructions actually made sense.
The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is that one screw was kind of a pain to line up and took a few tries. Not a huge deal, though. I still managed to get it assembled on my own without needing help.

My chair had a warranty issue, so I reached out thinking it would be straightforward. And then... I waited. Then waited some more. They did eventually get back to me, so it wasn’t ignored completely, but the whole time I kept thinking, “Do I need to follow up again?” It kind of felt like I had to keep nudging things along at every step. They helped in the end, but the process was definitely slower than I hoped.

"Built really well"
This thing feels super sturdy. Nothing about it seems cheap or flimsy, which is always a relief. I picked it up and immediately felt like it was made to last. So yeah, solid.

"Nice chair, but confusing and hard to keep clean"
I do really like how this chair looks in the room, but keeping it clean has been more annoying than I expected. Crumbs get caught in the seams constantly, and the fabric seems to hold onto little stains way too easily.
The website made it sound like it would be easy to care for, so I’m a little confused by how much spot cleaning I’ve had to do. For the price, I thought it would be more family-friendly. It’s not a bad chair, just not the most practical if you deal with everyday messes

"Updates were slow after I ordered"
Ordering from Monte Design ended up being more frustrating than I expected. The website seemed totally fine at first, but once I checked out, I didn’t really hear anything for a few days and had to email them just to figure out what was happening.
They did get back to me eventually, so it wasn’t a complete disaster, but the whole thing felt slower and less organized than I’d expect for such a pricey order. Maybe they were short-staffed or just backed up, but either way, I’d probably think twice before ordering again unless their communication improves

I really liked that I could choose the fabric, legs, and size without it being complicated. I’m picky about how things look in my space, so being able to customize it made the whole thing feel much more personal to me

"looks nice but didn’t last"
i really liked how this chair looked at first, and it fit my space well. but after a few months, the fabric started showing wear and the frame got kind of wobbly. it’s a nice-looking chair, just not as sturdy as i hoped.

"Shipping promises didn’t really match what happened"
The product itself is fine, so no complaints there. But the shipping updates were disappointing. They made it seem like I’d be kept in the loop, but in reality I had to keep checking on it myself and went days without really knowing what was going on. There weren’t any clear updates or even a heads up when things got delayed. For what I paid, I expected the service to be a lot smoother. Not the worst experience ever, but definitely frustrating.

"Showed up sooner than I expected"
I ordered from Monte Design i was expecting to wait a while, even though I wasn’t really in a huge rush. The tracking info came through quickly, and then the box showed up earlier than I thought it would. I usually get a little annoyed having to keep checking on deliveries, but there wasn’t anything to chase here. The packaging looked fine and everything arrived in good shape. Simple experience overall. Not exactly exciting, but in a good way.

"Recliner doesn't lean back as much as I expected"
I was hoping this recliner would go back a bit more, but the recline feels weak. It works, but it doesn’t feel very sturdy or high quality, so I’m not sure how well it’ll hold up over time

"Color looked nothing like the photos"
I ordered the chair in the lighter grey, but what showed up looked way more blue and darker than the pictures online. The chair itself seems decent enough quality-wise, but for the price, I expected the color to be a lot closer. I also hate dealing with automated customer service systems for stuff like this, so the whole thing just made it more frustrating than it needed to be.

"Honestly, such a smooth little rocking chair"
I mean, this rocking chair is really nice. It glides super smoothly and, like, it’s really quiet too, which is kind of exactly what we needed. Baby settles down fast in it, that alone makes it worth it for us.

"Nice chair, but not worth the wait"
The chair does look good, but the seat support was a letdown for me. I waited quite a while for it to arrive, which made it even more frustrating when it wasn’t as comfortable as I expected. After sitting in it for a bit, the seat feels too soft and kind of sinks in. For the price, I really thought it would be more supportive. It’s not awful, just not what I was hoping for.
